Quokkas Are Probably The Happiest Animals On Earth And These 17 Photos Prove It.

You may never have heard of quokkas. Luckily the fantastic world of the internet offers a wide range of fun and sweet pictures, which depict this beautiful animal from Australia. They are mammals that live on a handful of small Australian islands, such as Rottnest Island and Bald Island, and belong to the same family of kangaroos, the macropods. They can live up to 10 years and, like other macropods, they are herbivorous and mostly nocturnal animals. Unlike many other wild animals, the quokka is not terribly afraid of humans.

As you’ll see in these photos, quokkas seem to be quite comfortable in front of a camera lens and even seem unable to stop themselves from smiling … That’s why quokkas seem to be the happiest animals on earth!
